Kono Pizza- an unique variation
Only a while ago, food enthusiasts were seen making pizzas using watermelon as the base instead of bread. From honey to chocolate pizza, your favourite dish has undergone many experiments. But this time, we are not talking about tweaking pizza toppings. And now, another trend is doing the rounds — pizza in a cone. Instead of the usual pizza slice, this one comes in the shape of a conical structure made with pizza dough and filled with sauce and cheese.
Making of Kono Pizza
Served in a cone and filled with quality ingredients with its dough and sauce imported straight from Italy, Kono Pizza offers consumers a healthier, on-the-go alternative to one of their favorite foods. Featuring a thinner crust and low-moisture cheese, Kono Pizza cones are 250–280 calories each, compared to 450 calories in the average traditional pizza slice.
While the video has now gone viral, turns out that pizza cone is not exactly a new trend. Pizza company Giordiano’s mentions on its website that pizza cone came into vogue after it was popularised by Kono Pizza. It promises a clean eating experience without the cheese or sauce falling on your clothes.
